Help us update our Junior Fleet Mailing List Here
Our mission is to provide a safe and fun learning environment that will instill, in our sailors, a lifelong love for the sport of sailing.
Ultimately we will promote regional, national, international amateur sailing, maritime education and competition. We endorse an interest in sailing education and maritime arts and science.
Those participants dedicated to the program will have experiences that will benefit them for a lifetime. All ABYC coaches will share their knowledge and experience through a structured curriculum. Follow the link to the Programs we offer or simply browse through our tabs at the top of the page. Also, be sure to like us on Facebook and check us out on YouTube.
Shadden #1 & Fall Gold Cup @ NHYC!
ABYC's Travel Sailing Team competed at the first large sabot event of the season, the Fall Gold Cup. ABYC was represented on multiple different race courses this last weekend.
Ryland, Isaac and Tanner raced hard in the Sabot C3 Fleet, Tanner finishing a respectable 10th out of 27 entries! Isaac is looking to make his sailing opportunities broader, as he normally sails his Opti in the Green Fleet.
ABYC is working hard to keep dedicated sailors on the water. Isaac wasn't the only Opti sailor out there in a Sabot! Nicholas and Tate also tried their hand in sabots this weekend. Both sailors had an incredible Saturday. Nicholas even held on to 11th place (out of 24 entries), while not being able to sail on Sunday. Well done to both sailors.
Shout out to Will & Amelia! They fought hard in a talented Shadden fleet. This was their first CFJ regatta and ABYC is proud to have them out on the racecourse. Everything changes when getting into a boat like a CFJ. Ocean, crew work, spinakkers, it makes the whole experience more fun!
Stay tuned for more, the Fall season is just beginning!!!
