The title of this clinic is 'Rules: Yes They Apply to You.' This is a change from the original title 'Rules: Not a Figment of Other Skipper's Imagination.' You should know something about Rules because not only are you probably breaking several of them at every mark and crossing, but your opponents probably are too.

In 1928, SCYA and the LA Junior Chamber of Commerce teamed up to sponsor the first Midwinters which was promoted as an example of the sports "paradise" that Southern California offered in the winter. This is the 84th Annual SCYA Midwinter Regatta, the longest-running regatta in Southern California. Story of the Battleship USS Iowa and Crew
This premier United States Navy Battleship is the last lead ship of any class of United States battleships, and was the only ship of her class to have served in the Atlantic Ocean during World War II. The USS Iowa also served in the Korean Conflict and is now on permanent display in San Pedro.
Our evening presentation will be given by Mr. Mike McEnteggart, former USS Iowa crewmember and current Public Affairs Officer for USS Iowa BB-61.
Mr. McEnteggarts talk will be preceded by special Happy Hour refreshments, a tasty buffet dinner and our February Membership Meeting.
Please plan to join us for the chance to honor and learn about the men, women and ships of our past and present Naval forces.
